Holistic Management Canada is working with farmers to bring the Ecological Outcome Verification™ program to Canada.
EOV™ is a practical and scalable soil and landscape assessment methodology that tracks outcomes in biodiversity, soil health, and ecosystem function (water cycle, mineral cycle, energy flow and community dynamics). EOV™ was developed in collaboration with leading soil scientists, ecologists, agronomists, and an extensive network of regenerative land managers around the world.
Do you know if your management is resulting in land regeneration?
EOV™ is a powerful management tool for land managers allowing you to see if your land is:
- degenerating, (soil is degrading, biodiversity is decreasing, water is evaporating)
- sustainable (the land is in a steady, static state)
- or regenerating (soil is restored, biodiversity grows, water and carbon are absorbed)
This information can be plugged in to your planning tools to help you make improvements on your grazing management and implement regenerative practices.
Need help telling the good news story about your land?
EOV™ helps you to inform your buyers and customers about the beneficial impact of your land management. Let them know about how you are improving soil health, biodiversity and ecosystem function. EOV™ works with the Land to Market label providing transparency back to regenerating land.
We are currently looking for:
- Farms and ranches who want to implement EOV™ on their farm. We currently have trained verifiers and monitors in Manitoba and Ontario. But if you are outside this region, connect with us to discuss.
- People who are interesting in becoming certified monitors. Do you want to understand land regeneration and support others to deepen their knowledge of ecosystem health? Consider becoming a EOV Monitor. Learn how to use this landscape assessment methodology to inform management decisions and demonstrate impact.
